Men Engagement to Stop Violence against Women Project 

This project of People Health Development Association (PHD) is a 3-year (2010-2012) project working directly with young university students between age of 18-28 in ten universities in Phnom Penh focusing on integrated mainstreaming gender-based violence and sexual reproductive health to promote reasonable relationship among young urban male.

This project also include the idea to promote youth participation and youth empowerment in response to youth issues related to rights on sexual and reproductive health and increased understanding of the gender concern. The project will bring together classroom-based learning, hands-on leadership training in the work setting implementation of group leadership action plans, participated with broad range of skill and knowledge, including understanding in communities of personal leadership on right base approach.

Overall Objective
The project seeks to reduce levels of GBV and sexual harassment of beer promotion women in the workplace perpetrated by young men and increase understanding of gender equality and equity as well as sexual reproductive health of young men in the university and male clients.

Main Objectives
1. Increase knowledge and understanding on basic of women rights, gender based violence ddmasculinity sexual harassment, and sexual reproductive health and rights among dduniversity students in Phnom Penh.
2. Increase of youth voice and participation, particularly young man in taking actions to ddpromote of women's rights is human rights, and stop violence against women in the ddworkplace through engaging with existing male network.
3. Create enabling environments for the understanding of Human Right. Women's Rights ddthrough inequality by challenging negative culture and gender stereotype, sexual ddharassments and gender based violence.

1. Develop educational materials focus on gender and gender-based violence and sexual ddreproductive health (BCC/IEC)
